Come Dream With Me

come dream with me & be the geese weaving their calls into fields of wheat quartz flimmering into stars seeds shaking with laughter come dream with me the night is brim with the blue of dreaming whisper of grass & stone & moon-kindled water hush the dark is dreaming holy dark incensed with moonlight dream see how night sees how loneliness sculpts clouds how storms lilt & lightning's quick temper is its triumph hush dream & forget your hunger for logic & ease out of yourself into the night where the wink of mica or your lover's slumbering smile will give you more than an entire day of cloudless light
